Dear Guests,

We are delighted to welcome you to “La Sentinelle du cap Bear” bed and breakfast.

Rules and regulations may seem restrictive, but they are necessary if everyone is to enjoy their stay to the full.

First of all, we’ll be happy to talk to you about possible walks or hikes, cultural visits, the most beautiful villages to see, activities to enjoy… We’ll be happy to recommend wineries to visit, restaurants…

The Cape Bear Sentinel is not a public area, so you can’t invite guests or host parties.

We only welcome teenagers over the age of 12, to ensure peace and quiet for all guests, and stress that the property is not suitable for younger children.

Pets are not allowed.

Welcome and departure :

In order to be able to welcome you in the best conditions, you will be welcomed between 4pm and 8pm in a time slot that you will be asked to specify. Late arrivals must be agreed in advance.

On the last day of your stay, departures must be no later than 11am.

Breakfast :

Breakfast is served on the terraces or lounges on the 2nd floor facing the sea and/or the pool between 8am and 10am. On request, they can be served a little earlier. We invite you to let us know the day before whether you’d like a sweet or savory breakfast, in addition to the traditional formula, to preserve the freshness of the food and avoid wastage.

Spaces :

La Sentinelle du Cap Bear is designed to let you take full advantage of the wonderful light, the magnificent sea views and the calm of the surroundings.

You have access to

  • the large lounge on the 2nd floor (overlooking Cape Bear, the sea and the Fanal redoubt) at any time of day for reading or resting, as long as it’s quiet and noise-free, especially between 10 pm and 8 am.
  • the large south-facing pool terrace with deckchairs and sofas (also accessible 24 hours a day, subject to the rules of communal living).

The entire house is non-smoking, except in areas expressly designated and clearly marked as such.

We’re in an area at high risk of fire, so please dispose of your cigarette butts in the water ashtrays provided, and don’t smoke outside the outdoor areas we’ve set aside for you. It’s dangerous to dispose of cigarette butts anywhere other than in an ashtray filled with water.

The house has Wifi. Illegal downloading and access to sites that are subject to criminal sanctions are strictly forbidden and may result in prosecution.

We ask our guests to dress decently at all times, and to be dressed and shod when using the indoor common areas.

For reasons of hygiene, please shower before entering the pool and do not walk barefoot in indoor communal areas.

The pool is unsupervised; everyone is responsible for their own safety, and parents must supervise under-age teenagers.
